The month of June has been designated Gypsy, Roma & Traveller History Month. Building on the success of the third celebrations held last year, even more events are planned for this June, on the 25th. It is a free event, open to all, public and schools alike – all are welcome at St David’s Hall.
A ‘ Design a T Shirt’ competition will be held. All primary schools in Wales are encouraged to enter, to publicise the celebration to be held on 25th June 2012
The posters will be judged at a local primary school.
All the entries will be on display at the St David’s Hall in June. The winning design will be produced professionally and the winner / runners up will be invited to receive their prizes at the event on 25th June 2012. Each school that enters will be presented with a Commitment to Equal Opportunities Certificate.
Any entries should be sent by 2nd March to The Romani Cultural Arts company c/o Isaac Blake-Chamber of Commerce Building, 113-116 Bute Street, CF105EQ
The entry format has been sent to all Primary School Head Teachers.
